CHEROKEE TRANSMITTERS

Cherokee transmitters can be custom made to match the requirements of customers for special applications where standard off-the-shelf sizes, duration, and distance will not meet the job specifications. If special requirements are needed, our transmitters can be configured for either higher power or longer duration at no extra cost.

 

Cherokee also provides a standard size line of off-the-shelf transmitters that are described below. These are available in both standard (continuous and pulsed) and coded frequencies. Some unique types include very small transmitters designed for production lines, as well as coded types that offer switch selectable codes, such as A-B, B-C and A-C. Tow behind and standalone carriers are available for our CR-123, 2AAA, 3AAA and 3AA transmitter models and Delrin protective housings are available for AA, C and D types.

Our standard size transmitters are specified below. All transmitter cases are stainless steel and designed for 2000 PSI. Temperature ranges are determined by battery type. Alkaline batteries are rated at -4 to +130 F (-20 C to +54) C and Lithium batteries are rated at -40F to +140F for open air transmission range ratings.
